Do you need peace in your life? Has life been a rollercoaster of business, hardships, and struggle? Are your thoughts burdened with critical thinking, hurt, and even anxiety?

I want to encourage you that there is hope in Jesus, and He brings peace to the storms in our life.

Isaiah 9:6 NKJV says, 6 For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor,[d] Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Today, we are gonna learn about how we find peace in Jesus, and how Jesus remains the Prince of Peace in our life.

Have you ever started watching a movie from the middle of the movie, and not knowing anything about the beginning? It can be a fun challenge right? Or maybe we're just completely lost because we don't really know how things came to be the way they are.

Well, did you know our story with God is kind of like that? I heard from a pastor once, who shared an amazing perspective on life, and he gave us this picture of coming into the movie late.

In the story of creation, from the time that God created everything, we are in a sense, born into the movie late. And just like a movie, when we come in late, it's difficult to understand how things came to be, and what is actually taking place.

Doesn't this sound like life? What is my purpose? Why is the world the way it is today? Why is there so much darkness, corruption, and pain?

And so just like we do in the movies, when we lean over to ask our friends what happened in the beginning, let's lean over to the Word of God as we ask, what we were created for.
