Matt and Nick are back to review the Vikings' week 9 win against the Washington Commanders and preview their upcoming game against the Bills.

• Commanders review
  • Aggressive Kirk, into tight windows and downfield (ADoT over 10)
  • iOL struggling mightily vs Allen and Payne, Cousins under pressure on 45% of snaps
  • Hock coming up huge -- 9 catches, 70 yards, 5 first downs
  • Run game couldn’t get going at all, Cook and Mattison averaged just 2.5 ypc
  • Defensive line feasted -- Z and Hunter combine for 16 pressures, Heinecke under pressure on 48% of drop backs
  • Coverage held up! Good communication, LBs disrupted passing lanes, held Heinecke to 2.5 net yards per attempt if you take away the 49-yarder (and 4.1 if you include it)
  • Crazy 49 yard Curtis Samuel TD made this closer than it should’ve
  • Tape Talk
    • TJ Hockenson’s first game
    • Akayleb Evans -- two TFLs vs a screen and in a run, another tough tackle where the RB bounced outside, 4th and 1 PBU, no catches allowed (other than that screen TFL if you count that)
