This short episode introduces the forthcoming podcasts which are designed to help us understand the development of children and young people.
In these we will be looking from conception to birth, and the developmental stages which follow. This is intended to inform and help parents and others, to nurture the child's progress. There will be some episodes which focus upon particular areas of difficulty young people and their families experience.

This episode describes some characteristic traits of the abusive relationship. It offers some initial guidance and is intended to open the awareness of those in relationships where emotional abuse may be occurring, and will inevitably impact upon children
The Children's Consultancy remains committed to the emotional and psychological wellbeing of children, young people and families. It works alongside child protection, police forces, social care, the NHS and victim abuse services.
