This week's guest is one of the most legendary country artists of all time. He is a 4x platinum artist as well as ACM's Artist of the Decade. He is an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, owner of countless businesses, and knows how to have a damn good time: JASON ALDEAN
First, Jason and ERNEST talk about Jason's first few years in Nashville and what had to happen for him to find his footing in this industry. This week's guest is a fellow singer/songwriter who has become a mainstay on various "Artists to Watch" lists. She's got a southern accent as pure as they come, knows her away around a farm, and started her hustle performing as a Hannah Montana impersonator: LAINEY WILSON
ERNEST and Lainey start things off by talking about what it was like growing up in small-town Louisiana with a population of 300 people. This leads them to reveal Ern's inability to read a map as well as the beginning of Lainey's performing career as a Hannah Montana look-alike. Then they discuss the time Lainey's "Deddy" (that's southern for "Daddy") found a gun in her Camaro, the early days of Lainey's career in Nashville when she was living in a trailer, and why playing at nursing homes is an extremely high-pressure gig.
