A tense meeting with the Vistani quickly turned around when they were delighted by Jack Magnum’s tricks, but the rest of the troupe learned some hard truths. Tyler couldn’t get the hang of worm-fishing and found himself relegated to a corner, New Rogue learned that his relationship with Ezra might be superficial and that he should do some more introspection to deepen the connection with his god, Adam was forced to confront some of the evil deeds he had done as Shadow Nemesis, and Del expended a lot of emotional energy trying to soften the blow. Can the troupe exhibit the emotional maturity needed to pull them through these latest trials?

The troupe had some uncomfortable realizations about themselves and each other. New Rogue received a Rod of Double-Checking to help combat his tendency towards black-and-white thinking, Del played Warhammer with Lucretia Sanguine, who she learned to be Aesir’s mother, and a horrified Adam learned about his crimes as Shadow Nemesis and left to get a drink with New Rogue and the Doctor Deputy. Meanwhile, Tyler caught a ground worm and tried to leap on it and stab it, but instead knocked himself out with his own sword. Will the troupe survive a fishing mishap, a drunken revel, and a scheming squire?
