"Jester" Section Hiker

Sometimes, things don't always go as planned on our hiking adventures. You can plan, take practice hikes, dial in your gear, and try to mentally prepare for the journey you are about to take.

Jester shares with us her recordings from the first couple of days out on the John Muir Trail, her and Mighty Blue's decision to get off the JMT, and gives us an update on some upcoming events happening this fall!

Jester set out on her Birthday in September 2020 to begin the goal of hiking all 40 Day Hikes from the Book, Great Day Hikes ON North Carolina's Mountains to Sea Trail. In this episode, Jester focuses on Day Hikes 18, 19, and 20. As you will hear these particular 3 hikes ended up being so much more than Jester expected.

Tune in as Jester has a chance meeting with a Friends of the Mountains to Sea Trail Board Member, a Section Hiker working on completing the entire Mountains to Seat Trail, and a fellow hiker working on completing the Day Hikes!
