JPARIS is a band formed originally in 1999, and saw commercial success in the 2005-2007 era. The band was blessed to have been signed by Emanon records in 2004. JPARIS worked with some of the best producers in the industry, and produced a number 1 single on the eastern Shore of MD/DE/VA with the help of Mitch and John Alan from SR-71 called “Here We Go Again”. The track (produced also by Mitch Alan) did very well on college and commercial radio, but the rest of the record never got its proper exposure. Produced by Kevin Churko (Ozzy Osborne fame), “Call It What You Want” is a record that still, today, holds up to the best in its genre. The band played extensively – from college tours, to the infamous FYE tour that wound up being nation-wide, and playing anywhere from CBGB’s (THE JPARIS POSTER IS IN THE CBGB’S MOVIE BY THE WAY!!) to The Whiskey a Go-Go, to Giant Stadium, to Meriweather Post Pavilion, to The House Of Blues Disneyland Orange County!!...and seemingly everywhere in between. The band was literally everywhere over a span of about 3 years. The music was placed in Spellings BEVERLY HILLS 90120 DVD set, and JPARIS seemed to be on one TV show or another almost constantly for a bit.
