With the director so busy with the Knives Out films, it looks like we have awhile before he helms any Star Wars movies. However, where would he go in a galaxy far far away? Away from the Skywalker Saga finally? Also we saw Rogue One in IMAX and watched the exclusive Andor footage front he upcoming show that is a prequel to Rogue one Andor, starring Diego Luna as Cassian Andor! Star Wars the Clone Wars, episodes 102, 103, and 104 are the topic of conversation this week! These are the Malevolence episodes. Rising Malevolence, Shadow of Malevolence, and Destroy Malevolence. In these episodes we discuss the story arc that leads the Republic down a mysterious path, with a Separatist ship that is decimating Republic fleets. It's an Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Anakin heavy three episodes! We even see General Grievous. Claudia, Nerdy and Jeffers with special guest Clarus Polaris dive into the episodes, how they hold up, if you need to see them and giving them a good review after so many years. Season one of Clone Wars can be rough around the edges but there was still some good stuff here!

Despite much of this podcast episodes focusing on Star Wars content outside of the films, we are the new kids on the block, and so to help you get to know us better, we thought it would be best to show you how we feel and think about the franchise. And in doing this, our first episode will be us each ranking the Star Wars films in order, a ranking of which none of us have revealed to each other. This should be interesting.

Something of note about this podcast, there is no wrong answer here, something we love about Star Wars is that each film or piece of content speaks to others differently, love what you love, all are welcome here, this is a non-toxic community and in the end, despite any critiques they’re healthy ones and you’ll never hear us trash or hate on the franchise.

Before we start our ranking let’s have a quick discussion, if you are new comers to these films, maybe you’ve only watched the Mandalorian or Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, where do you go next? What’s the best route?

In this episode of Jawa Chatter, we continue to go through the Star Wars Clone Wars animated series in sequential/chronological order. This week we tackle three episodes from season one:

• 105: Rookies
• 106: Downfall of a Droid
• 107: Duel of the Droids

We revisit and find out where the former Domino Squad from 301 Clone Cadets is on the most important outpost/backdoor of the Republicans.

In Downfall of a Droid, we lose R2D2! Anakin and Ahsoka go looking for their little droid friend, frantically, especially since his memory has never been wiped.

Duel of the Droids continues with the search for R2D2, Ahsoka, and Anakin. Grievous meanwhile is having a great time with R2 and guiding his Republic spy.
