Balancing Capital and Opportunity with Chris Urso

Chris Urso is managing partner of URS Capital Partners. Since 2007 he’s cultivated relationships via its field partners, private investors and real estate professionals. From 2008-2009, he led a multi-state team to acquire, renovate and lease/sell over 60 single family homes.
In 2010 he directed the firm’s efforts towards multifamily and has taken a very systematic path to accumulating over 1,800 units with an asset value of over $100,000,000 through acquiring well-positioned multifamily assets in need of turnaround while maintaining a risk aware approach.
He’s responsible for securing over $34,000,000 of private capital in the last 9 years and his constantly seeking new relationships to expand the firms reach. Prior to URS Capital, Chris was a minority partner and Director of Operations at Skyline Legal Technologies, a Manhattan based litigation support company.
Chris was an integral part of the company’s growth from start up to $16MM in annual revenue and its eventual sale. Real estate, specifically multifamily, has been his true passion since purchasing his first property more than 15 years ago. He is a graduate of Manhattan College.
