Jacky Winter Gives You The Business - 023 - Jacky Winter's Book Club!

023 - Jacky Winter's Book Club!

11/30/17 • 48 min

Jacky Winter Gives You The Business

Jacky Winter Book Club is basically the same as Oprah’s Book Club — just with a few less people and the books are a lot more related to creative project management.

In a regular book club, you all read the same book, but we’re all about maximising efficiency here at Jacky Winter so the way we do things is a bit different. Everyone chooses a different work-related book from a big internal list that we keep updated throughout the year, has an allocated amount of time to read it, then we all have a big breakfast together where we go over key insights and takeaways and whether the book is worth reading at all.

Who cares if most of us forgot about Book Club and speed-read our books in the last two days? Everyone still came back with some really great tidbits and so today, we’re inviting each member of the Jacky Winter team to give us the low-down on what book they read, what they learnt and whether you should read it too.

We are currently looking for new interview subjects! Know a PM, producer, studio manager, art buyer, etc etc who is amazing at their job? Dob them in to [email protected] so we can hit them up!
