Danny Marang and Brandon Sprague take a look at today’s breaking news: Damian Lillard’s surgery happened, CJ McCollum had a baby (with his wife), the Trail Blazer hired a new Assistant General Manager- Andrae Patterson, oh and the Blazers took on the Denver Nuggets in Denver to kick off a 6-game road trip, losing 140-108.
With the loss, the Blazers (10th) are now only 2 games ahead of 14th place Oklahoma City for a bottom 5 worst record in the league. With Lillard likely out for the season and the continued absences of multiple starters & contributors (McCollum, Norman Powell, Anfernee Simons, Larry Nance Jr.), this is what most of the remaining season will probably look like.
Hunting for good performances from Nassir Little and Simons - watching rookies Trendon Watford and Greg Brown III make mistakes - that’s the vision for the next few months and that’s not a bad thing. With the impending trade deadline less than a month away and then March Madness weeks after, there’s plenty to still be excited about and look forward to. So hop in with the fellas and get involved!

Jacked Ramsays Live: Reaction to Lillard’s Surgery
Join hosts Danny Marang and Brandon Sprague for an impromptu live show following the news from multiple sources and outlets that Damian Lillard has opted for surgery following two different recommendations from specialists on his ailing abdominal issues.
With the Blazers about to embark on a season long 6 game road trip, the decision for Lillard to undergo what will most likely end up as “season ending” surgery fits with a shift within the organization to soft reset this year - chasing a Top 5 lottery pick in a time they shouldn’t/wouldn’t normally have a shot. Much like the San Antonio Spurs with Tim Duncan or the Golden State Warriors with both Harrison Barnes AND James Wiseman - good teams that found themselves in a position to add talent via the lottery and enabling those teams to get right back into the fold.
What does this mean for the rest of the year? Tune into the live show and find out!

Jacked Ramsays Post Game: Blazers vs. Wizards
It was all Anfernee Simons all the time for the Portland Trail Blazers as Simons led the Blazers to a win on the road (their third of the year) over the Washington Wizards, 115-110.
Simons spearheaded the attack with a monster first half - 26 points on 7 made 3’s. He finished with 31 points and 11 assists, forcing a conversation to take place... is Simons too good to allow the Blazers to tank?
Simons wasn’t alone on the night as Jusuf Nurkic (23 points, 14 rebounds), Robert Covington (15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals) and Nassir Little (18 points) - found a way to make impacts up and down the roster.
The Blazers bounced back from a monster beating in Denver against the Nuggets to pick up a win in DC. That brings their record on the current road trip to 1-1 with the Orlando Magic (and the return of CJ McCollum) up next.
Join Brandon Sprague and Danny Marang on the Jacked Ramsays post game as they break it all down!
