It's Time to Rise Up

Send us a text

Something extraordinary is stirring in the heart of Southwest Missouri. Over 300 people packed the Cornell Complex in downtown Joplin for Revival Night—a testament to the deep spiritual hunger permeating our communities today.
What made this gathering remarkable wasn't fancy production or celebrity speakers, but the authentic presence of God moving through ordinary people. As one attendee described it: "renewing, refreshing, with such freedom to worship." The open altars throughout the evening created space for people to respond to the Holy Spirit without pressure or manipulation, resulting in visible transformations as chains of addiction, shame, and fear were broken.
Perhaps most striking was the beautiful diversity represented—from 13-year-old youth to 86-year-old seniors, from business leaders to ministry workers, spanning denominational lines and backgrounds. Two young elementary girls opened the evening by reading Scripture, immediately softening hearts and creating an atmosphere of childlike faith and expectancy.
Behind this powerful evening stood three essential elements: prayer as the foundation, God's supernatural provision (including someone volunteering to cover the entire venue cost without being asked), and dedicated volunteers serving without compensation. As one organizer confessed, "It's the most humbling experience...we really don't know what we're doing, but God shows up and helps."
This Revival Night represents just the beginning of a larger vision for spiritual awakening throughout the region. The team is "believing God for a great awakening in our area" where prodigals return home, churches experience growth, and the spirit of salvation falls powerfully in every gathering.
Join us for our upcoming conference August 1-2 at the Keeter Center in Branson to continue this journey of revival. Register at itstimetoriseup.org and use promo code podcast15 for $15 off your ticket. Whether you worship quietly or exuberantly, come as you are—the water's fine, and God is moving!

Join us as we dig into Psalm 103 and explore the beautiful themes of gratitude, compassion, and the richness of praises that we can offer in our daily lives. In this episode, Kim is once again joined by Charity DeGonia, Laurel Wike, and Chalee Brown and they share their personal reflections on how the timely messages found in this Psalm resonate with their own experiences of faith. You will hear discussions on God’s unwavering love and mercy, and how these elements transform the way we engage with both our Creator and those around us.
We navigate through verses that speak of God’s compassion, His grace in forgetting our sins, and the promise of His love that spans generations. By reflecting on the foundational truth that we are dust yet cherished, the conversation reveals how acknowledgment of this relationship fosters deeper gratitude and a sense of community. This episode is not merely about dissecting Scripture, but becomes an invitation to practice thanksgiving in tangible ways that renew our spirits and strengthen bonds.
As we conclude with a transition into Psalm 23, we challenge you to embrace the invitation to deepen your relationship with God through consistent prayer and reflection. This exploration beckons you to set aside distractions, making room for a personal encounter with the Good Shepherd. It's a reminder that the most important appointment you can have is one with God. Prepare to be inspired, challenged, and encouraged in your walk of faith! Subscribe, share your thoughts, and let’s continue to rise up together.

What happens when you finally stop making excuses and start saying yes to God? Ashley Wilhite's story will inspire you to recognize the divine favor already operating in your life.
During a powerful moment of worship at the 2023 Rise Up conference, Ashley felt an unmistakable spiritual stirring—something new was about to be birthed. The next day, God clearly instructed her to write a book based on a title He'd whispered to her seven years earlier. What followed was nothing short of miraculous: a perfectly timed free writing program, supernatural downloads of content, and a publishing journey that defied industry timelines.
Despite having four children and serving as a kids' pastor, Ashley made time for her calling by writing at 2 AM and waking at 6 AM. "Delayed obedience is still disobedience," she reminds us. Her determination paid off—"Favored" was written, published, and awarded the Global Impact Award within just one year of its conception.
The book's cheerful ice cream cone cover belies its profound spiritual depth. Through vulnerable personal stories and fresh perspectives on familiar biblical characters, Ashley reveals how recognizing God's favor transforms our daily experience. Her family practices this awareness by enthusiastically shouting "favor!" when experiencing everyday blessings like finding a good parking spot—a simple habit that "cancels coincidence" and acknowledges God's intentional goodness.
If you're holding back from pursuing a God-given dream, Ashley's message hits home: "You were created on purpose, for a purpose, and it is time to rise up." Your excuses don't stand a chance against God's calling. When He speaks, your only question should be: what's my next step of obedience?
Ready to recognize the favor already operating in your life? Grab "Favored" on Amazon or at live-favored.com and join the journey toward living as one of God's favorites.
