The Port Vale game may have been a dull affair but it still provided some talking points for us to get our teeth into.

There's also the news that the council have been recommended to accept the club's offer for the land out the back of the East Stand. Charles gives a summary of what's happened and what it means.

The Cobblers made it 2 out of 2 on Tuesday night against Newport County and now head to 8th placed Port Vale on Saturday. Hoorah for 1-0 wins and boo for terrible referees! Let's hope for more of the wins and less of the crap decisions next time out.
