It's a Mad World: A Gears of War Podcast

Casey and Cody are back with their replay through of the Gears of War franchise. This time playing the second entry in the series, Gears of War 2. Hear about how it's just okay, and just Gears of War but more two-er.

Casey and Cody discuss the most important part of game development: marketing. Starting with the humble, yet groundbreaking, eponymous "Mad World" trailer, followed by how we want all the kids on Twitter-dot-com to watch a video about how cool Gears: Tactics is. And of course, we talk about how we would market Gears 6.
(Yeah I know what the word eponymous means, it was a part of clue in a crossword puzzle, the answer was "RoboCop" btw)

Casey and Cody begin tackling the task of replaying and retrospective-ing the Gears of War franchise. Starting with Gears of War 3, the third game in the series, and the end of the first trilogy. Why do they start half way through the series, you may ask? Well you're just going to have to listen to their explanation as to why.
Casey begins the now famous "Hammerburst Minute", and shares his love-affair with Baird. Cody is convinced that the entire plot of Gears of War 3 was plagiarized from a Pokémon game only he has heard of, and shares some details of Gear of War 3's development he learned in about in a book, and there's a lot more involvement from Jimmy Fallon than you would be expecting.
