In the first of the new series of of Inside Surgery running up to the EAES Annual Congress in Rome, Hamish Mackenzie is joined by Professors Marlies Schrijven and Tan Arulampalam. They discuss the benefits of social media for surgeons and some of the guard rails that might be considered when developing and engaging with a professional network. Marlies shares some of the positive stories from her engagement across a range of platforms and they share some expert tips on how to cultivate a professional network.
