A writer of slightly off-kilter and historically-interested fiction and contemplative non-fiction, Shay Galloway began journaling and writing stories as soon as she knew how to hold a pencil, and before she even knew she wanted to be a writer. She studied creative writing at Utah State University and received her Bachelor’s degree in 2012. She received her MFA from Roosevelt University in 2017. Her short work has appeared in, Adanna, The Write Launch, A-Minor Magazine, The Lindenwood Review, The Nasiona, and Literary Mama. Her debut novel, The Valley of Sage and Juniper was released March 2023 with Running Wild/RIZE press. She is currently an adjunct professor of English in Washington State, where she resides with her husband and son.
