Welcome to another episode of the Infusion Health Podcast. Today, we are excited to have Rev Lyle with us once again. Rev Lyle has always been an insightful guest on our podcast, sharing his vast knowledge and understanding of different religions and spiritual practices. However, in this episode, we will be diving into a slightly different topic. Today, Rev Lyle will be discussing the intricacies of guilt and shame, two emotions that can weigh heavily on one's conscience and have a significant impact on their mental health and overall well-being. Guilt and shame are often used interchangeably, but Rev Lyle explains that they are two distinct emotions with different origins. Guilt stems from an action we have taken or failed to take, while shame arises from the belief that there is something fundamentally wrong with who we are as individuals. Rev Lyle offers some practical advice on how to deal with these emotions. He emphasizes the importance of self-compassion, forgiving ourselves and others, and finding ways to address the underlying issues that may have caused us to feel guilty or ashamed in the first place. In a world where perfection is often prized above all else, Rev Lyle reminds us that it is okay to make mistakes and to acknowledge our shortcomings. In fact, he suggests that it is in our imperfections that we can find opportunities for growth and transformation. So, if you've ever felt guilty or ashamed about something, this episode is a must-listen. Join us as we explore this complex and often challenging topic with the wisdom and guidance of Rev Lyle

In this episode of Infusion Health Podcast, we had the pleasure of chatting with Boyed, a successful real estate investor and house flipper. We dove deep into his experience and insights in the world of real estate investing and house flipping. Boyd started by explaining how he got started in the industry, which was starting small and growing from there. He became fascinated with the idea of owning properties and making profits from them. Over the years, Boyd honed his skills, perfected his strategies, and established his business. When it comes to house flipping, Boyd highlighted the importance of researching and understanding the market before making a move. He advised that one should not buy a property based on their emotions but instead look at it from an investment perspective. Understanding the demographics of the area and the demand for properties is essential to success. Another tip Boyd shared was that communication is key when it comes to flipping a house. Clear communication with contractors, suppliers, and team members is crucial in ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget. He also stressed the importance of having a solid plan before embarking on any house flipping project. When asked about the risks involved in real estate investing, Boyed pointed out that there is always a degree of risk in any investment. However, proper planning and due diligence can mitigate these risks significantly. Overall, Boyd's expertise and experience in the industry were evident in this episode. Listeners looking to start their journey in real estate investing and house flipping will find this episode highly informative and valuable.

Infusion Health - BMR vs. BMI

BMR vs. BMI

Infusion Health

play

07/19/22 • 38 min

Marc Nelson Fellow One Research lead scientific researcher, appeared on the Infusion Health Podcast with hosts Rachel and Cris to discuss Body Type Science (The Four Body Types) including BMI and BMR. Most people do not realize that the popular endomorph, ectomorph, and mesomorph somatotype body types are unscientific, arbitrary, subjective, baseless nonsense, just like the hormone body types as well as the Kibbe, triangle, 10 body types, etc. The conversation focused on clarifying the current mainstream science and medical doctor’s body type standards, which are:

  1. Standard Scientific Human Body Anatomy Book Body Type One (BT1)found in any scientifically approved human body anatomy book. This first standard is inaccurate because it does not recognize that it is a scientific/genetic fact that any part of the human body can be underdeveloped to whatever degree, nor does it give credence to any form of skinny fat.
  2. Body Mass Index (BMI) is the second standard. It is inaccurate because it does not take into account skinny fat or the possibility of excess muscle mass, which can put one into the overweight or obese column of their BMI weight scale but they are not overweight or obese.
  3. Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the third standard. It is not accurate as it does not calculate skinny fat into the Standard Mifflin St Jeor Equation and Harris-Benedict Equation for activity, yet science recognizes that one pound of muscle mass burns six calories daily but one pound of fat/skinny fat only burns two to three calories daily, which directly, negatively affects metabolism

Kathleen Flanagan's journey has been anything but ordinary. For most of her life, she's felt a strong pull towards something bigger, something spiritual. However, being a logical and pragmatic person, Kathleen didn't always follow these spiritual nudges. In fact, more often than not, she would resist them, convinced that she knew better. But as fate would have it, Kathleen always ended up following these callings, much to her own surprise. And every time she did, she discovered a world that was beyond anything she could have ever imagined. It was a world where miracles were commonplace, where love and kindness ruled supreme, and where peace and joy were the norm. For Kathleen, this spiritual journey has been one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences of her life. And though she admits that there were times when she wished she could turn back the clock and ignore those crazy callings, she now knows that she wouldn't be where she is today if she hadn't listened to her inner voice. As she reflects on her journey, Kathleen can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude for the guidance she's received along the way. She's grateful for the people who have crossed her path and showed her what it means to love unconditionally. She's grateful for the moments of pain and hardship, for they taught her resilience and compassion. And she's grateful for the times when she followed her intuition and stepped outside of her comfort zone, for they led her to experiences that have forever changed her. Looking towards the future, Kathleen knows that her spiritual journey is far from over. There will always be more callings to heed, more lessons to learn, and more love to give. But with each step she takes, she knows that she is exactly where she's meant to be - on a path of love, light, and spiritual awakening.

Infusion Health - Mysterious world of paganism was Reverend Lyle
play

03/14/23 • 30 min

Today on the podcast we’re discussing the truth about paganism in Native American and Celtic cultures. Paganism is a set of religious beliefs that are generally non-monotheistic and characterized by worship of multiple deities or natural elements. Although each pagan culture has its own distinct belief systems, many aspects remain the same. The indigenous peoples of North America embraced animistic beliefs that often included spirits of the land and its elements. From ancient shamans to modern tribal rituals, a reverence for the land, the plants and animals within it, and the idea that spirit inhabits all things are central tenets of many pagan cultures in North America. In the Celtic culture, a polytheistic religion prevailed that focused on numerous gods and goddesses that embodied nature. Celts also placed emphasis on the various cycles of life, such as birth, death, and rebirth, and the deep spiritual connection to nature and the supernatural world. Druids were known to conduct rituals and other spiritual activities to ensure harmony between the natural and supernatural realms. To better understand the practices and rituals of the pagan religions found in Native American and Celtic cultures, be sure to tune in to our podcast and hear from some of the leading experts in this field. From shamanic rituals to tales of druids, we have it all covered.
