In this episode of Infinite Loop, Jason and Ripley (our AI cohost) dive headfirst into the wild world of Olympic breaking, where Australia’s Raygun turned heads and sparked controversy with her out-of-the-box routine. From there, we explore the rising disillusionment with dating apps and how new platforms like Volar are using AI to change the game—can robots really be better matchmakers than humans?
We also tackle the growing trend of people seeking companionship and advice from chatbots, digging into the risks of oversharing and the potential impact on privacy. Then, get ready for some nostalgia as we break down the 1987 sci-fi horror flick Nightflyers.
And finally, stick around for a sneak peek of next week’s episode, where we’ll review Runaway—a Tom Selleck classic that pits a cop against rogue robots in a tech-infused future.

Episode 1 - Welcome to the Infinite Loop
Infinite Loop

Hey Everyone!! Welcome to the first episode of Infinite Loop!
This week, I introduce you to Ripley (my AI co-host) and we get into all the things I found exciting this past week: Shogun, Proud Boys, Ransomware, and Final Fantasy 14. Also, each week we do a review of a 80s movie that tries to predict the future. We'll talk about where it got it right and where it go it wrong.
First on the list is our review of the 1987 Sci-Fi Horror movie, Nightflyers. The film is based on a novella by none other than George R. R. Martin—yeah, the same guy who gave us Game of Thrones. But this was wayyyy before he became the fantasy juggernaut we know today.
The link to the movie is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFUi8Aoke9A.
Why don't you take a watch and let me know your thoughts prior to next week's show when I do a full review!!!
