Having made a new acquaintance in Fenna, a rock gnome cleric, Shrew and Fenna return to Umbridge Hill with their offering of game to Zurtaz, a starving yet menacing manticore who had been intent on having Adabra for dinner, before returning to Phandelin to collect Shrew’s reward and make arrangements to travel to Gnomengarde together. Shrew bumps into a familiar face from his past who lends his sword to Shrew’s cause, joining him on an eventful and rather peculiar quest to Gnomegarde in search of magical items which could assist in defeating the Dragon.
