Scribd Vs Audible:
It really depends on what the person is looking for. Audible has always been considered the better audiobook service, but Scribd was more popular because it offered unlimited access to books in their library for a low monthly fee. However, now that Audible has launched an All-You-Can-Listen subscription plan that is only $7.95 per month and includes unlimited access to thousands of audiobooks, Audible Originals, and podcasts, more people are choosing Audible.
Check out our honest Audible Review:
There are a few key differences between Scribd and Audible. For one, Audible is an audiobook company, so their library only consists of audiobooks. This is in contrast to Scribd, which has a library of both books and other formats (such as audiobooks, ebooks, magazines, sheet music. etc.). Additionally, Scribd has a smaller number of titles overall than Audible. However, both companies offer a great selection of popular titles and classics.
There is no free membership to Scribd. However, they do offer a free trial for new members. After the free trial, memberships start at $9.99 per month. Memberships give you unlimited access to Scribd's library of books, audiobooks, etc.
You can cancel Scribd after the free trial. You can do this by logging into your account and going to the 'Billing' section. From here, you can select the 'Cancel Subscription option.
Scribd App:
The Scribd App is a great way to read and listen to books on your phone. It has a clean, simple design that makes it easy to browse and find titles you're interested in. The search function is also useful, and you'll be suggested titles based on your interests. You can download and listen offline, which is great for when you're on the go. I really like the app and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good book-reading experience.
The biggest downside to Scribd is that it does not support Kindle readers and does not have its own reader. This means you can only read on your cellphone or tablet, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the selection of books is not as large as on other reading platforms. However, Scribd does offer a variety of other content, such as audiobooks, comics, and documents.
Is Scribd Worth it?
I highly recommend Scribd to all my friends. There's no doubt that Scribd is a great service. For just a few dollars a month, you get access to an amazing library of audiobooks and self-improvement content. The question is, is it worth it? For me, the answer is yes. I love being able to listen to audiobooks while I'm doing other things, and the selection on Scribd is excellent. The self-improvement section has also been really helpful, providing me with guidance and motivation that I wouldn't have otherwise had access to. If you're considering signing up for Scribd, I say go for it. It's a great investment in your personal growth and development.
