Ibiza - The Reset Rebel

This week we meet mindset coach Elizabeth Walker on the sands of Santa Eulalia to talk about how she left her life, living in Cyprus with her two children and took a leap into the unknown to move to ibiza.
Elizabeth began life on the island as a body worker and massage therapist, but as she learned more about peoples physical pain, fascial connections and blockages through her hands, her curiosity as to where the emotional and mental barriers began, grew. She now runs her own business and creates space for others to locate those issues and help them unravel their trauma and work through the barriers that are holding them back from living their best lives.

This week, we jump on a rare Zoom call, to catch up with London Yoga teacher, anatomy geek and physiotherapist Celest Pereira.
As someone who literally lights up and starts bouncing off the walls when she talks about the human body, Celest is someone who is an absolute passionate sharer of her workshops & learnings and makes everything fun while she is at it.
It is fair to say she works hard to bring a lot of knowledge to the table in her classes. She goes deep and that is her unique trait, as a teacher, she really cares about her "art".
That is how she sees everything she gives to her students and that is what makes her a little bit different to most people we go to for yoga. She is also rebellious and isn't afraid to vocalise her dislike for much of the "yoga culture".
She was born in South Africa, she left her home and family very young to come to London and Reset her path in life which is precisely what qualifies her to be on todays show, because she walked away from everything she knows into the unknown, like all our guests, and eventually found her craft in wellness through her love/obsessions of/with movement.

YogaFit has been running for almost a decade in Ibiza.
It now also runs across Greece and has found a brand new island home here at the just opened Cala Verde which gazes out across the stunning bay of Es Figueral.
The event which was co-founded by our previous podcast guest Lindsay jay and her brother Ken and his wife Antonia has been growing year on year and was sold out this month when we spent a whole week trying different styles of classes, meditation mantra circles, dance, long coastal walks and late night pre bed time Yin.

After being slammed into by a car and losing her ability to move we are so inspired to hear how she fought her way back to full fitness and went into Recovery.

For some people that word means so much in this world. To Re-find what we once previously had and maybe didnt fully appreciate or value until it was gone.

To Re-Gain and Re-Establish the way we were before something that came along to fuck us UP is Recovery. In so many cases it’s Usually ourselves, but in this case not.

Laura lost her freedom because of Somebody else.

Someone drunk driving.

Battling back to health has been a huge and life changing experience for Laura and we are just honored to have been a part of it.
