Worrying you will not solve anything, but taking action will.
The following week is Blue Monday. In the UK, we consider this day the saddest day of the year. We came back from the holidays and worried about all the money we spent, debts, etc. It takes hold of us, added to the darkness of the clouds that surround the country along with its low temperatures.
I'll tell you something—I'm a recovering worrier. I have it in my DNA, it is part of me, and I had to learn to control it. For this reason, in this episode, I will share five tips with you that helped me change the way I think and take me to live a less stressful and less worried life.

Most of the time, we worry about things that will happen in the future. We occupy our minds and waste our time in situations that have not yet occurred or may never occur.
You can only change today; enjoy the now.

The most important thing is to learn how to identify it to stop it. Ask yourself, is this worth continuing to occupy your mind with this worry?
- [14:53] Ask yourself about the possibilities.
I recommend using the third-person strategy to answer this question. Often, we need to put our feet on the ground and think if we are giving more importance than it deserves to the problem or situation we face.
- [15:53] Turn that thought into an action plan.
One of the mistakes we make is worrying without doing anything about it to change it. Ask yourself, can I solve this right now? and start taking action.
- [18:18] Don't focus on the negative.
In every circumstance, moment, or situation that we go through, there is always 50 percent that everything goes well and another 50 percent that it goes wrong. Focus on the positive things because you never really know what life will have in store for you.
Positive thinking manifests positive things in you and your life.
