Imagine having to commute 5-6 hours a day using unregulated, unscheduled and unreliable transportation methods. Well this is the reality for approximately 4 billion people across the "Majority World" who rely on and use these "informal transportation networks" daily. WhereIsMyTransport is an award winning company on a mission to transform these networks through data and digital tools. They have already deployed their services in 39 countries and having recently completed a Series A funding round of $7.5 million dollars with investors that include Google, they are now expanding to even more cities. Their mission is daunting to put it mildly. Lee Sankey speaks to founder Devin de Vries and Julian Hirst about the inspiration behind WhereIsMyTransport and their unique perspectives on optimism having worked in so many countries.

Lee Sankey speaks to David Sheldon Hicks, Founder of Territory Studio about innovation in the media space, his take on optimism and what he’s learnt from working with some of the world’s leading film directors such as Ridley Scott.

If you are not familiar with Territory studio you’ve almost certainly seen some of their work. The studio began life specialising in motion graphics for things like gaming and content creation.
