Paul closes his letter to the Ephesians with what has become one of the best-known metaphors in all of his writings: the armor of God.
It’s a powerful, inspiring image, but what does it actually, practically mean?
Paul says that the point of wearing the armor is “so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
In other words, something about putting on the armor will keep you from getting tricked or tripped up—it will help you keep your balance.
Let’s talk about it.
Preacher: Rev. Andrew Forrest
