How to Love...

It's time to talk about astrology! In this week's episode I, along with my two guests Meliss and Maritza, discuss if astrological signs have an impact on the relationships in our lives based on our birth times.  We dish on our own loves of both past and present to reflect on how our signs have helped shape not only ourselves, but everyone else around.  I would like to dedicate this specific episode to the late Walter Mercado, who was an icon in astrology, and who taught us to live con mucho, mucho amor.  

In How to Love's premiere episode, Michael's first guest is Maddy, who speaks about how they dealt with their own difficult heartbreak, and how they managed to give birth to a new self after heart ache.

Loving yourself can be one of the most difficult parts of life.  This week, my guest Jerry and I discuss how we've grown to love ourselves over the years.  We also speak about our process, the obstacles we've had to face as well as the moments we decided to start living for ourselves and not for others.

To the dismay of some of our parents, sometimes we find ourselves in interracial relationships.  In this episode, my guest Liz discusses how it took some time for her parents to warm up to her boyfriend who is Filipino.  We also discuss how cultural differences can make a relationship stronger and why it's important to understand each other's worlds.  

My guest this week is Ingrid, who happens to be in a long distance relationship with someone who lives in Germany while she is here in the United States.  We discuss the pros and cons of being in a long distance relationship, why it works for her and what to do if you find yourself in this situation one day.
