018 Starting A Successful Business At 10-Years-Old - Jon Butterfield
Jon Butterfield has a fair share of successful business ventures behind him. He built a website as a kid which saw him through his teenage years. Since then he's been a part of many other businesses and lived in LA, the Netherlands and now Slovenia. Yet having business success is rarely an easy ride. Jon tells us about the guilt that fuelled his gruelling 12 hour days, 7 days a week. He tells us how he was able to build a career from "making things" and how he's recently developed more of a f*** it attitude which allows him to value his personal and family time better. 020 - Having The Courage To Jump Into The Unknown - Vivian Mineker
Vivian is a freelance illustrator living in Ljubljana. Her Instagram features lots of cute illustrations and has grown to over 40k followers. But just a few years ago, she was in good job that was comfortable, safe, but didn't make her happy! Rather than drown in that unhappiness she decided to leap into the unknown...
On this episode we discuss what it's like being caught between two cultures, how she got the courage to leave such a 'safe' job and the realities of freelance life. We also start off very philosophically by debating what it really means to be a human at all.
