137. To Joey, With Love
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
02/27/17 • 67 min
Geoff Dow spends an inordinate amount of time watching YouTube videos that actively call the viewer's sanity into question. He's a Wood Pusher, a Gladiator lover, and his artistic skills cannot be matched, at least when it comes to sketching one of our beloved Rude Dudes. Can you say the same for yourself, kind sir or madame? I thought not! Geoff joined us to watch and discuss "To Joey, With Love", the first example of a FH episode where the title has honest to God fuck all nothing to do with its plot. Seriously, why is this called "To Joey, With Love"? Please tell us. Please send an explanation to [email protected]. So what is this about? Well, it's about Joey's disastrous turn as a substitute teacher for Michelle's class, which we're pretty sure is Failed Career #11 for poor Joe-Joe. It's also about Jesse, who hates his brother-in-law, and Danny, who hates the very idea that anything could happen under his roof that doesn't directly beat his ego off. Everyone is a disaster and nothing matters, this show sucks eggs. But Geoff is great! XOXO
113. The Dating Game
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
09/06/16 • 69 min
Ian Williams may have had his career as a professional ironing board surfer cut tragically short, but that didn't stop him from being our 101st honorary Rude Dude. We'll hear all about Ian's creepy daycare pal, his first date at the age of sixteen, and get a world premiere catch phrase by the time this comes to a close. Unfortunately, we'll also have to putter through "The Dating Game", which is ... not great! Everyone is trying to capture the elusive magic of the "perfect" first date: Stephanie is trying to court Josh, who may or may not be gay dumdum; Danny is trying to reignite a spark with Vicky with a disgusting meat boot; Joey is desperately trying to fuck his boss, and Steve? Steve's just trying to eat, dude. Whaddya got? Fruit? Cool, dude. Donuts? Cool, dude? Tin can found amongst the briny shoreline rocks? Cool, dude. XOXO
45. Granny Tanny
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
05/11/15 • 63 min
Well, let's just get this out in the open: I, Jon Pernisek, truly am the worst. At a certain point during this episode I completely make an ass out of myself and for that I apologize to my co-host and buddy, Brandon. I am sorry, Brandon! That said, let's focus on the positives, like this week's wonderful guest, Alison Lynch! She's here to help us discuss "Granny Tanny", a timely episode in that it focuses on Moms. Who are mothers? What are mothers? Why do we love and adore them so much, especially when they turn into fancy Grandmothers? Also, why are people kissing each other SO MUCH in this episode? Seriously, it's a new record for gross kissing. Stop it! Also: The resume of Doris Roberts, shoelace techniques, Looney Tune comparisons, and bedtime issues. It's all here! And yes, I'm still the worst. I'm worse than Charlie Brown! Aye, me. See you next week, guys and gals. XOXO
43. Breaking Up Is Hard to Do (in 22 Minutes)
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
04/27/15 • 67 min
Justine Krueger comes from a weird clan and she's bringing her all for this, the 43rd episode of the podcast! Join us as we pick apart "Breaking Up Is Hard to Do (In 22 Minutes)", in which the greatest romance in television history is nearly dismantled by an age-old debate: Which is better, horsing or music? The stakes have never been lower! Sorry, I mean higher, clearly this is a big deal. Supplemental viewing: 'Look Who's Talking' and 'Fat Man and Little Boy'. One is about a sassy baby. The other is about the Manhatten Project. There's literally no way of knowing which is which. Justine, we thank you for being yet another wonderful guest on our roster. And we thank YOU, the listener, for giving us a positive review in the iTunes Store! XOXO
35. Baby Love
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
02/01/15 • 73 min
Mallory Bradford just got out of her cheerobics class (brought to you by Matrick Swayze and the hits of today) and is ready to shake it off with an earnest discussion of Baby Love. WARNING: This is yet another particularly gross bit of podcasting, as the sitcom forces us to consider baby romance. Full House pushes us to these extremes, people, we can't help ourselves when under its horrible spell! Anyway, Michelle falls in love and Stephanie practically has a bowel movement while watching The Wolfman. Also: Mallory is a star, despite her parent's objections, and Brandon is a weirdo. Let's dive in!
23. D.J.'s Very First Horse
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
10/05/14 • 72 min
Toby McMullen rode his fly as hell, awesome as fuck skateboard to the studio so he could aid in our discussion regarding D.J.'s Very First Horse, in which the oldest of the Tanner girls makes some startling discoveries while on the back of a strong, noble stallion named Rocket. Spoiler: Jonathon gets particularly graphic when describing said discoveries, but if you're allowing children to listen to this podcast that's clearly your mistake, not ours. Toby is a big ol' goof and we loved having him on the show, so let us know you feel the same way by leaving a five star review on iTunes and writing us at [email protected]. Tumblr, Facebook, Libsyn, Stitcher, we're all up on it, so help us spread the word! XOXO
22. It's Not My Job
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
09/28/14 • 79 min
Margaret Lebron just got out of an unproductive meeting with her high school guidance counselor and is more than ready to help us pick apart It's Not My Job, in which Jesse's vaguely Italian-Greek-Jewish-Bronx parents pay the Tanner home a visit and tensions arise over the family business (the family business being little more than a vague front for the mob). It's a great podcasting session so make sure you let us know as much on iTunes with a five star review or an e-mail sent directly to [email protected]. And don't forget to tell your friends about us!
07. The Miracle of Thanksgiving
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
06/15/14 • 66 min
Stacey Smith came over to put us in headlocks and break down The Miracle of Thanksgiving, an episode in which everyone is sad but no one is willing to seek the help of a licensed therapist. Tuck in for some crispy dark meat because it gets pretty damn dark! Have you left us a five star review in the iTunes store? Please do so and help us rise in the ranks of the online globosphere, or, you know, whatever it's called! Also please feel free to send us feedback via [email protected] or on our Facebook page. See ya next week!
02. Our Very First Night
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
05/11/14 • 52 min
Willie Myers joins us to discuss the thoroughly maddening Our Very First Night as well as Jodie Sweetin’s unfortunately titled memoir, unSweetined (you can’t make this stuff up, folks). A heaping helping of gratitude goes out to Cary Davenport for creating our wonderful intro and outro music, as well as everyone out there listening. If you’re a fan please take a few minutes to leave a review in the iTunes Store and/or send feedback to [email protected]. You're the heart and the hand we hold onto!
138. You Pet It, You Bought It
How Rude! The Full House Podcast
03/06/17 • 65 min
James Dugan knows exactly what he wants from his entertainment, whether it be from the TGIF lineup or the Power Rangers canon, so when he tells you this week's episode of Full House is nonsense, you better believe 'im, baby. "You Pet It, You Bought It" is honest to God one of the stupidest things we've watched since we started this enterprise in May of 2014. It's just straight up about Michelle buying a donkey and that's pretty much it. There are Civil War gags, there's an endlessly reoccurring bit about the Three's Company theme, but beyond that, there is literally nothing here. To make up for the lack of content, Brandon shows off his best Salem, Jon shows off his best Trump, and James talks about the hottest day he can remember. Also, Brandon doesn't know his Hitchcock from his own cock. Stop reading and start listening! XOXO
