In response, the governor of Missouri, Michael L. Parson, brought charges against the journalist for "hacking." This story would be hilarious if it wasn't true. Update: In July 2022, Josh Renaud was awarded The National Press Club press freedom award for his work.

Hey folks, I have a shocking story to tell today about how I got scammed. Everything ended up turning out okay, but I thought you might like to hear about it. This is how it went.
My partner and I were looking for a video projector, a high-end video projector for a project that we had coming up. Some other pros in the industry were recommending this specific type of projector that was $3,000 or more. We wanted to see if we could get a deal.
