On this episode my guest is Phil Owedy, a Welsh-Nigerian storyteller based in Pembrokeshire. He draws deeply on his dual heritage and multiple cultures in order to find the contemporary in the traditional.
Phil regularly performs in storytelling clubs and has featured at Beyond the Border and Aberystwyth Storytelling Festivals, as well as at Kea Festival in Greece and Fabula Festival in Sweden. I met Phil at Beyond the Border this summer where he delivered the premier of his brilliant new show, The Gods are All Here.

In this episode, we take about Phil’s experiences and approach to storytelling, and we hear a telling from The Gods are All here.
