The 20-year-old ranks fifth in the BNXT League with a PER of 25.2, and has helped the Giants to 11 straight wins and a top seed in the playoffs. For his efforts, he was named the Belgium Rising Star of the Year and the BNXT Sixth Man of the Year. Thijs was also selected to the BNXT Dream Team, which is equivalent to being named first-team All-Conference or All-NBA.
