General Combo and his warriors

Walking the barrens through a series of megaliths your party bumps into the ghost of a paladin, general combo, who explains that the tomb which his order was buried is under attack each night by corpses rising from their graves, every night the tortured souls of his brothers and the bodies of warriors buried there rise and do battle. He begs for you to put an end to this needless violence by destroying the corrupted paladin statues that stand in the main hall of the necropolis.

The party comes across a young girl, pure of heart and truly innocent, whose every action brings beauty and joy into the world around her. The party adopts her, both out of affection and in order to protect her from the cruelties of the world. However, according to prophecy and divine insight, the girl- whose name is Persephone- has a brother- who has no name that can be uttered in the tongues of the civilised races. He is her opposite in every way: as she is life, he is death. As she brings joy, he brings misery. The only thing Persephone truly wants in the world is to be united with her brother, who is separated from her by a great distance. And that reunion, according to prophecy, is the event that will trigger the end of life as we know it. There is nothing at all that the party can do to stop her from reuniting with her brother and fulfilling their terrible destiny. Well, there is one thing...

The Good And Proper Order Of The Friends Of Pavel Maliki:

While shopping for supplies, the party notices a strange interaction: a man, clearly a servant of some rich lord, conveys a coded message to the shopkeep by arranging some coins on the counter. Further investigation reveals this to be part of a grand conspiracy among the richest in society, who refer to themselves as "The Good And Proper Order Of The Friends Of Pavel Maliki" and appear to be working toward some mysterious purpose known only to themselves. No matter where the party goes, they find agents of the Friends. No matter how hard they search, they cannot determine the greater purpose of the conspiracy- but clearly, it must be nefarious! Surely this is the sort of thing a group of adventurers should foil! Should the party move against the members of the conspiracy, they will eventually discover the truth: The conspiracy is merely a game, played by the idle rich, in order to entertain themselves. But how far will the party go before they discover the truth? And how many dangerous enemies will they needlessly make in the process?

The Sept of Pavel Maliki

There’s something special about this eighth of a coin. Any means of identification tell you that it is completely worthless, but when it’s united with another piece, they magically fuse, leaving you to settle who keeps the remaining artifact. As you quest to find the remaining pieces, mind your choices for everything you do has its consequences. With seven pieces, you conjure up the eternal spirit of Pavel Maliki, holding the final bit. And with this completion begins Pavel’s journey, to bring aid to all who had lost their slice of the coin. So beware what you do on your journey, for whatever wrongs you commit will be revisited tenfold upon you, from Pavel, the saviour of the wronged.

Gus the Dream Eater

As a reward for protecting an isolated village from horrors, the party is given an odd gift: a small wooden carving of a misshapen impish creature, which the village chief claims will protect them. When next the party makes camp, they all fall into the most restful sleep any of them have ever had. Including the ones assigned to stand watch. Including, even, any party members who would normally be incapable of sleep. When they awake, they find a small note, which reads "Hello! My name is Gus! I keep you safe at night!" From then on, resting at night is completely safe for the party, and they continue to sleep utterly peacefully. In exchange for warding off danger as they sleep, Gus extracts their dreams and devours them for sustenance. However, as time goes on, the party begins to develop a connection to Gus's native Astral Plane. And as the connection grows and it becomes harder and harder to resist it's pulling, the party risks being transported there as they sleep, with no known way of returning...

Johnathan explosion

Jonny explosion is the forward for night city's slaughter ball team “The Bane Slayers”. He wears a leather jacket with a pair of wings on the back, Mohawk and a classic tough-guy kind heart attitude. Handed off to the party in a classic get him to the church on time quest. Jonny keeps trying to slip away from you, offering drugs, money (that he swears his agent has) or using his charm and good looks to persuade you. It’s only once you shake the info out of him that he explains the mob (your employers) want him to fix the game tonight. He’s getting high to do what needs to be done, but he just can’t bring himself to let his Ma down. Will the party help him, extort him or find their way onto the slaughter ball court to replace other “missing players”.

Gus the Gluttonous Imp

A man discovered underneath his bed, a tiny helpless imp, with skin that sagged over its malnourished form. The imp greeted him, with a mumble of “Hello, I’m Gus. Please feed me.” And so the man fed him, and Gus was grateful. Over the coming days, Gus grew, filling out to be a very healthy imp. Or so the legends go... But when Gus appears, and the townsfolk feed it, it soon becomes clear that its appetite can not be sated. Gus’ form swells and bloats, and with everything it eats, begins to ooze. The marble statue in the square becomes a sheen of natural armor, while the lumber set for cutting emerges in horrible splinters. “I’m Gus. And I’m hungry”
