October 25, 2023: Lewiston Strong
Homegrown Horror
01/18/24 • 71 min
After some unfortunate illnesses, we are finally back for season 3 of HGH! We kick off this season by discussing the recent tragedies affecting the Lewiston and larger Maine communities. What happened, what may have led us to this, and what steps we should take to keep this problem from happening in our country, the only place this keeps fucking happening. You will notice there is no skit nor Maineism for this episode, they will be back next week, but for today we want this to speak for itself.

Homegrown Horror
01/31/23 • 78 min
Your friendly neighborhood duo is back with this month's bonus episode! We watched hit or miss horror film "The Uninvited" and its progenitor "A Tale of Two Sisters". These two fit together almost like two diametrically opposed sisters in their own right. One one side we got the quirky, rando (RAWRR XD), happy go lucky, but seething inside sister, and on the other side the gothy, moody, Wednesday Addams wannabe (kinda nailing it tho) sister. All in all there is a lot to appreciate from either film and for all their flaws you will come away experiencing a slice of horror history.

Homegrown Horror
07/21/22 • 53 min
B and Jackson hit a recent case in this weeks episode, where on February 2020 a murder spree occured in the town of Machias claiming the lives of three victims. Mental illness, bitterness, or just bubbling resentment, the answer is unclear why these terrible crimes take place. Other fun features of this episode include: cajun accents, bad lawyers, and unwarranted "poetry". All this and more!
