E-SWORD BIBLE APP 4/5: Look up Hebrew and Greek words using Strong's Concordance and Dictionaries

Holy Language Institute: Learn Messianic Jewish Hebrew
Have you ever used Strong's to look up a Hebrew or Greek word? Strong's is STRONGEST on the e-Sword Bible app! Here's how to search original words and see every place they're used in Scripture and how they're translated. I'm also going to show you how to get modules you can't get through the app including the Gesenius Hebrew dictionary and an interlinear Hebrew Bible with vowel pointings. In this tutorial I'll also give you my recommendations for in-depth study Bibles such as the Apostolic Polyglot which shows the Greek LXX and NT equivalents of Hebrew OT terms, demonstrate how to tweak the settings and turn on Bible Study mode, and give you an overview of the four lexicons available through the app - Strong's, Brown Driver and Briggs (BDB), the King James Concordance (KJC), and the Ancient Hebrew Lexicon (AHLB) which details the concrete meanings of words based on the original Hebrew pictographs.

E-SWORD BIBLE APP 5/5: What are the best Hebraic/Jewish Bible commentaries and how do I get them?

Bible commentaries take up space and they're expensive, regardless of whether you order the books or buy them digitally. It's also hard to find ones that emphasize the Jewish roots of our faith. UNTIL NOW! Here's how to use the e-Sword app to see what the best commentaries say on every book, chapter, and verse in the Bible. In addition to introducing you to some of the greatest Christian Hebraists of history - men such as Dr. John Gill and Professor Franz Delitzsch - we'll also show you how to go offsite to get the Messianic Jewish New Testament Commentary by Dr. David Stern.

E-SWORD BIBLE APP 3/5: How to compare translations AND get versions unavailable through the app

Have you ever wished you could read the Bible in the original languages? If you're not fluent in Hebrew and Greek the next best thing is to compare translations. Here's how to use e-Sword to instantly see how a verse goes in different versions. I'll also give you an overview of the Bibles available through the app, and show you how to get Bibles not available directly through the app. In this tutorial you're not just going to learn how to compare Bibles like the King James, English Standard Version, and Good News Bible. You'll also learn where to find Hebrew and Greek Bibles including the Tanach (complete with original text, interlinear translation, grammar, and Strong's numbers), the Septuagint (with English translation and Strong's numbers), and Hebrew translations of the New Testament by Delitzsch and Salkinson. We'll also recommend a Messianic Jewish version and warn you against another version that at first glance seems Messianic but will actually teach you bad Hebrew.
