History says that the 1st Crusade ended after the Battle of Ascalon, but for all of the main characters in the saga, this was far from over. A political battle was forming over who would be the one to rule the Holy City, and the war between the Normans and the Roman Empire was about to reignite. This episode covers the events that happened in the first year after the capture of Jerusalem.
