Higher Mind

Since I was new to New York City, I decided to go to a Baha'i meeting in late 2019 in the Harlem Heritage Center. The intention was to attend a gathering with locals while gaining some spiritual insight and meeting some interesting people in the process. As engaging as the night was, my mind was wandering off, imagineering an interview with a captivating woman who was sitting across from me, wearing the name Anna Dao . Whether or not she was conscious of her last name, she seemed to know a lot about the way , the spiritual path. In our circle she was the one with a deep and clear voice, who spoke to my soul. It was moving to hear everyone’s perspective but it was when she spoke the word 'geomancy’ in correlation to her heritage from Mali, that I intuitively knew she would be the next guest on Higher Mind.

I didn't know a lot about Mali, except it's North-Western Africa and I had seen the Blue people (a nomadic tribe), in a documentary. I am always looking for individuals who still hold their ancestral knowledge and know how to honor and incorporate that into their Westernized lifestyles. In addition to that, I am also intrigued if and how they share that knowledge with people that are unfamiliar with their ways. This, I believe we need as a collective -now- more than ever. Anna has a mesmerizing way of telling stories and goes on to explain the difference between faith and religion and why that is crucial for a community to thrive. She is without a doubt one the human beings that is assisting with the remembrance of the Dream that is Earth. It's my pleasure to introduce to you Sistar: Anna Dao.

What are your experiences with the dream space? Have you had assistance from the Beyond to deal with emotional issues and traumas? How do you feel about rawness and complete honesty? Are you in a Higher Mind relationship and have you ever been confronted by projections from your significant other?
What I think is vital to understand is that the voice of the true Divine Feminine is often perceived as inconsiderate, rigid and even cold. She's the haunting echo that poses a threat to the wounded Self or she seems to carry an inflexibility of the Mind.
I have always felt a sense of angst in how my standards, morals, values, intuition and boundaries are received because of this. Nobody wants to be perceived as cold, especially not when you are actually filled with the entire spectrum empathy for the sole purpose of assisting in grounding & nurturing the Human Experience of LOVE.
It's my wish for all of us to truly see ourselves, our wounds, programming AND our point of entrance for permanent healing and therefore refine our communication to our God-self. Remember that the people that Love us deeply can also reflect that in you! Sometimes, they can lay it bare with more ease & grace than you can, by yourself. That is what Love does.
Refine your communication to Self, to Mother Nature, to your Loved Ones, to your Art, to Life itself and it'll call You forth into your Highest Self and (mercilessly) dissolve anything of a lesser nature.

This is not to be confused with the ending of certain synchronized cycles of your life. As you wholeheartedly pursue any bonds- commitments- or agreements, your Mature Masculine/ Feminine Energy -will KNOW it when they are fulfilled. They come to a close/ renewal very harmoniously & naturally.

Reject the IMITATION of Love. Command REPRESENTATION of Love. The former is often channeled through WORDS, the latter is channeled by ACTION. Imitation can be the first step (observation, mirroring, imagination) but should always be followed by representation (manifestation, execution, integration).

My name is Stephanie Edin, I was born and raised in the Netherlands. I studied communications and have been engaged in the Art of expression in some way shape or form, for as long as I can remember. I do photography, write, interview, coach, facilitate and organize, to beautify anything I encounter and convey ideas that awaken and inspire people.

In the fall of 2019, I arrived in New York for the first time in my life. After getting off the plane the number one stop that a vegan makes was of course: Whole Foods. It was right there in Harlem, that I ran into a group of children around the age of 10-12 years old. They asked me survey questions about the United States government. I had no idea how to answer them. The person that was with me that day however, could. Rome, my newfound friend from Brooklyn who synchro-mystically would soon evolve into being my sound engineer and my husband. He was in another aisle, but when he tuned into the conversation, he smiled and said: “You attracted this!” It was quite impressive and humbling to meet these intelligent young beings. The sparkle in their eyes, conversing so eloquently with us and full of wit. I was elated and everything felt kind of surreal. We ended up having a really interesting talk where the kids informed us they are homeschooled individuals. At a certain point, their guide joined us. Dr Michael Rhea revealed himself as their teacher. He proceeded to tell us they were on a school assignment and I was so fascinated by the entire manifestation, that I realized this man was going to be the first guest on my debut podcast.

It was no coincidence that the energy surrounding me, my friend and the kids were attracting each other. It was magnetic. Synchronicity is the language of the Universe, and it communicates to all of us through seemingly random occurrences. I’ve had a great interest in homeschooling in general because of the changes in society. The famous presentations of the recently deceased Sir Ken Robinson, also sparked my mind many years ago. He was a powerful advocate for re-imagining the schooling system, in particular the Arts. He made me cognizant of the deeply rooted issues. However, the power in his work was that he provided solutions and hope.

Fast forward to meeting Dr Rhea, I had no idea he taught the humanities, led the debate team, was in the process of writing a book, was a life coach and a psychotherapist. It was pretty obvious what I had to accomplish! Surrounded by fresh fruit and blossoming spirits, I invited Dr Rhea to do an interview. He agreed and we met up some time later at his practice. The conversation unfolded very poetically and sincere. All of this transpired without knowing that the majority of parents around the world would soon be confronted with homeschooling because of the p(l)andemic. I am proud to present the first podcast, that hopefully sheds new light on the challenging times that parents and teachers are facing. Dr Rhea speaks on why it’s important to honor children as individuals and empower them to work together. Episode #1 touches on spirituality but really hones in on his way of teaching.
