On today's episode of the podcast we talk with the author of love fast and live slow Laura Mendedhall which she co wrote with her husband Nick. Their book is all about  discovering the simplicity of reflecting Jesus in a stressful world. When Laura and her husband wrote the book she had no idea that it was going to come out during such a timely season for everyone, but I'm grateful it did. In the episode we discuss how Laura doesn't only teach and encourage this lifestyle for other people, but we also discuss her journey of why this lifestyle became so important to her. If you are struggling to find rest or need the reminder that you are not alone on this journey of balance this is the episode for you!

On today’s episode of Here Goes Anything I have a delightful conversation with Lindsay Griswold the creative heart behind Find Wondrous Things. A business she created in hopes to add a beautiful touch to an already beautiful book through the creation of elegant and fun bible tabs and journals. I enjoyed every minute with Lindsay as we both discuss our journeys in finding freedom out of abusive relationships. Lindsay also walks us through how her relationship with God’s word was a pillar and beacon of healing, and how it became how she could identity God’s truth over the lies spoken to her. Though neither of us are graphic in the description of our abuse. I do believe this can be a sensitive topic with little ears listening and wanted to give anyone listening around littles a heads up. But I do believe in the power and healing that takes place in sharing stories. I pray if you, or anyone you know has experienced abuse you find healing and help within this episode.

To find more information about Lindsay’s adorable Bible tabs as well as her declare truth journals, and other wondrous product you can visit www.findwondrousthings.com or following her on instagram @lindsaywondrousthings

Here Goes Anything - Here Goes Anything #19: Karis Tillman
play

06/10/20 • 81 min

This weeks episode of the podcast was a very special treat for me, and I hope for you all as well. I talk with my wonderful best friend Karis Tillman. In this conversation we really unpack the power of communication in relationships. Specifically in friendships! Karis and I are both different people and our friendship has had several ups and down, but one of the most important things that unites us is our belief that God being at the center of relationships makes them stronger. And that includes friendships. If you have desired an accountability friend or wanted to strength existing foundations of friendship you already have you are not going to want to miss this episode!

On today's episode of the podcast I talk with the wonderful Brian and Brandi Chrisenberry of  agape farms. I not only talked with them but got to experience farm life at it's finest. Friends I'm not an outdoorsy girl but I absolutely LOVED it. It was also such a blessing learning about how they stepped out in faith and how God has shown up and how many small yes's got them to where they are now. They also talk about the creation of two tables, a ministry that partners with local farmers to sell market shares of high quality produce and meat and with the proceeds then gives shares back to those in need! From Animals to walking by faith and watching God show up. This conversation was an amazing Reminder of God's faithfulness and the importance of walking in obedience. Listen in.
