Heavy Metal Tones
10/17/24 • 33 min
Happy 35th Birthday to the extreme metal album that took Venom into different and interesting directions !!!!
From the Ashes of Punk that had warmed the cold and Bleak Newcastle Upon Tyne landscape, comes a monster that was forged in the shadows of the rusty gates of the cemetery that was industry. Unemployment on the cards for most the only way out was Rock and Roll. And from the those ashes rose the Phoenix that is VENOM. And after many years of touring a some of the most seminal albums of the burgeoning NWOBHM movement, it was time for one of the happy band of metal maniacs to move on. In big shoes comes Tony " Demolition man" Dolan with even bigger shoes crushes all before him and with a great producer and the fire rekindled they made one of the most important and musically superior albums of the late 80's in Prime Evil.
find them at venom-inc.co.uk and come and chat with me at [email protected] let me know your thoughts on this and many other albums.
