#95 Mike Paparo (Inter Arma)
04/08/19 • 54 min
Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest is lead vocalist Mike Paparo of the band Inter Arma. Mike came on the podcast to discuss the new album “Sulphur English” to be released this April the 12th through Relapse records. Mike and I discussed the new direction of the album and how the band manages to defy what critics and fans alike expect from them, and with “Sulphur English” it is no different, its a genuine juxtaposition to the band previous album “Paradise Gallows” and yet the two albums seem equally as cohesive. Mike takes us through his writing process and what authors inspire him as well as what he reads to get inspired. Thanks for listening!

#96 Adrian, Max and Jason (Warforged)
Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guests this week were Adrian, Max and Jason, members of the Illinois based Death Metal band Warforged. The guys came on the podcast to talk about their beginnings as musicians, their first full length album “I:Voice” coming out May 10th through The Artisan Era. Adrian takes me through his extremely unique writing process of the bands record and how all the members came together to write and record his vision. We also talk about road stories and how the band got robbed in S.F., keeping yourself entertained while on tour, I also may or may not be the new drummer (sorry Jason) and all in all we have a ton of laughs over the course of the 2 1/2 hour podcast! Bonus: SEX TIPS WITH ADRIAN.
