More about Hope Battista:
Hope led her South River team to 2 state championships in her four year career, was a two-time Washington Post All-Met selection, was named the 2007 All-Met Field Hockey Player of the Year and earned Baltimore Sun All-Met Player of the Year honors in 2007. Hope went on to play college Field Hockey and Software and most recently in May of 2021 was named South River’s Varsity Field Hockey Coach

- There is a boys and girls soccer fundraiser this Wednesday, September 7th at the Green Turtle from 6pm to close. Grab a bite to eat and help out our soccer teams.
- And for those who have not purchased their Athletic Gate Discount Passes. They will be available at the gate this week payable by check or exact change. The charge is $30. Checks can be made payable to South River High School. They will be sell while supply lasts. So get them quick.

This marks South River's third state championship appearance in program history and first since 2005 – a testament to how rare and precious this opportunity is.
