Well, for much of wizarding history, the defense of the magical world fell to a small handful of powerful ministry workers tasked with one simple goal: the enforcement of wizarding laws.

Those responsible were known as Aurors... or dark wizard hunters..., and even though you’ve probably heard about them plenty of times, you’ve likely never heard their full history.
