The CW series Stargirl premiered its 3rd season recently, and it is currently the only DC-related show on the network's fall schedule. Yvette Monreal plays Yolanda Montez/Wildcat since the show's first season. The California native has been acting since 2013. She has been featured in short films, web series, and commercials.Season 3 of Stargirl is called Frenemies, and Yvette teases that there is a murder mystery that will last the season. Stargirl also has a special connection to DC Executive and writer/artist Geoff Johns who created Stargirl in the comics as a tribute to his younger sister, who died in a 1996 plane crash.In this episode, Monreal talks extensively about getting the role of Wildcat, and her connection to the character's legacy.
