Ep 5 - First Thing In The Morning - The Heart of Man

Thank you for listening to First Thing In The Morning, with Guide4TruthTV,I'm your host Kimberly Boggio - Have you ever heard this startling statement from Jesus? Luke 12:51 says, suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division. What? Jesus came to divide? I thought he came to bring peace and love to the whole world? Verses 52 and 53 say - For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Folks don't we see this playing out today in our society? And why? Because evil exists in the world until Jesus comes back and when you accept Jesus as your Savior and you follow Him as your King, your Lord. You are choosing to divide yourself from the world, from evil. You are on the other side standing with Christ. You are choosing His division in your life. You will stand out of the crowd, you will stand against evil and you will proclaim truth. Too many of us in Christ are trying to BLEND into the world for the sake of unity and peace and we are walking away from what Christ has done in our lives. He wants you separate! It's time we start reading our Bibles instead of depending on the world to give us smooth talk that can be very deceptive and this passage is one of those that needs to said. My hope is that Jesus's words give you something to think about this morning and question - are you separate with Christ? Will you stand against evil and proclaim truth?
