Our long time friends, Kelli and Pat, courageously share their story of growing through grief after losing their son, Joseph Patrick (JP). The trauma of JP's death and life's journey after such a devastating loss could have easily been a story that ended in separation for Kelli and Pat. Instead, they grew to recognize that the most loving thing they could do was to support each other as they healed in their own individual way. They exemplify the value of prioritizing your own mental health and healing before you can show up for another; even if its the person closest to you. Now, after 5 years, they look back on their journey and share how they have grown together through the devastating loss of JP.
This episode is dedicated to Joseph Patrick Stewart, born still March 15th, 2016. Thank you for teaching me the superpower of empathy. Love, Ocrew Aunt MJ
