Today Matthew talks about the wide range of relationships between pest, insect, and microbe. This leads to a conversation about insects who aren't considered pests, but can often become problems if their population gets out of control or the ecosystem becomes unbalanced. Matthew also extrapolates on the cannabis plant's natural defense systems, and how we should be looking at pest dispersal. The great and talented Rhizo Rich from www.illinoiscannaconsulting.com joins GrowCast to discuss a hot topic in the world of cannabis growing semantics; "organic" cannabis production! Rich begins by giving us a quick overview of the harvest he just took down, taking a special moment to shout out a couple strains that blew him away- including 10th Planet by Ethos, and also K'Smores by Prolific Coast, the latter of which should be appearing on GrowCast soon!
