All around it's a step up from last episode as the Demolition Team attacks and Hal must hold fast to his pledge to the Guardians... and then deal with the fallout. It's a pivotal set of issues laying the groundwork for big changes that are right around the corner.

Just in time for Christmas, we dive head-first into 1984 with a look at Green Lantern comics from January, February and March of that year. As Hal adjusts to life back at home, the Shark surfaces to take a bite out of our Emerald Crusader. Then in issue #177, we get a flashback to a twice-told tale where Hal hooks horns with the huge-headed hoodlum, Hector Hammond!
