Forgiving Others
07/31/23 • 30 min
The New Testament heavily emphasizes the believer has been forgiven of all sin (past, present, and future). It also places a high priority on the believer's need to forgive those who have wronged them. In order to do so, we must understand what forgiveness is and isn't. Also, we need to know why we should forgive someone despite the pain they have caused us. Grant will take the individual on a journey through the Scriptures in a search for more clarity on these issues.

What Forgiveness Looks Like
Forgiveness is when one makes an intentional decision to not keep a record of the wrongs someone has done to them. It's when one makes the decision to find their peace and joy solely in Jesus and what He has done for them. The New Testament provides practical steps we can take as we forge ahead once the decision to forgive has been made. Join Grant as he highlights these steps we can walk out as we submit ourselves to God's wisdom.
