What is a Grace Warrior? Today Kathy & Sara talk about the why behind the name and where they started Grace Warriors back in November 2016. Grace is mentioned over 200 times in the bible, so maybe it is worth taking a look at? We throw this term around in our daily lives, but what is the divine meaning behind grace? Grace is a part of God’s nature, and he is pursuing all of us daily with it. It’s easy to focus on being a good mom/wife/friend but we will never be able to “do” it all. Choosing to stop striving and accepting His grace enables us to pick up His strength. There is more to life than exhaustion and a rollercoaster relationship with God, feeling like you’ll never measure up. Life, true life, is only found in Jesus and when we lay down doing it on our own, He gives abundantly more than we can imagine. Tune in today to hear how God’s grace has reshaped Kathy & Sara.

This week Sara and Kathy continue their series on the armor of God with the gospel of peace and shield of faith. Today they talk about how we have to be prepared and ready with God’s good news or the enemy will deceive and trick us. We can’t create our own peace. We have to rest in what Jesus has done and who he is. That is the only thing that brings true peace. His presence in our life is all we need and when we know this and embrace our true identity in Christ we can let go of what other people think! The shield of faith is protection God gives us. He is a full & big God. Take up faith and use it in your life and just like peace, you can’t muster it up on your own. It only comes from believing then experiencing Christ. Faith is always a gift! Today’s episode we are finishing out our mini series on love as we close out the month of February! Kathy and Sara go deeper into 1 Corinthians 13 by talking about all of the characteristics that love is. God is love! He has given us His spirit through salvation and as we grow and train up in His word we begin to see the fruits of the Spirit in our lives. God’s love was poured out to us through Jesus and now we not only get access to eternity with our Father and creator but He also equips us with good and useful gifts for here on Earth. The very end of the chapter talks about being fully known and fully accepted by the Father. This is something we don’t get to FULLY experience through relationships here on Earth but God will never forsake us or never leave us... for eternity! How powerful! This passage of scripture was meant to move us and there is so much power in the Word of God! We, as believers, get to choose who we rely on each day. We can’t be patient, kind, enduring, hopeful or any of the things described without God enabling us. But the good news is He desires all of these things for us. We can trust He is going to finish the good work He has already started!

Happy Thanksgiving Grace Warriors! It’s the best time of the year and today we are talking all about the beautiful and hard things we are thankful for in this season. A few times a year we love to take time to sit down and ponder afresh on all that God has done and is doing, and that is what today’s episode is! We hope this 30-minute talk encourages you to fall more in love with Jesus, to run to His word when you don’t feel thankful and to choose gratitude even when you don’t want to.
