07/23/20 • 18 min
In this episode of Gospel Gadget Podcast we interview a young lady who is traveling the world equipping indigenous people to use their smartphones to produce short gospel films. Angela works with GNPI (Good News Productions International) training their “Nomad Teams” in media production. She runs a one weeks intensive courses on the basics of using inexpensive android phones to produce testimonies, Biblical, and truth story videos that can be used in one on one evangelism, bluetooth sharing, and social media posting. This is part 1 of the interview we did with Angela sharing about what she has learned through this exciting new ministry. In future episodes we will be exploring the vision of “Media4Movements” as creatives endeavor to serve movements of unreached peoples to Christ in many innovative ways. If you are interested in training and equipping people from a UPG context to reach their people through low cost but effective media, you will love this interview. GGPEpi#48 – Media2Movements in Africa, pt.2
We interview one of the leading practitioners of M2M or Media to Movements. Candice works with a well known radio ministry TWR. As a Millennial leader in her organization she brings together traditional media coupled with native experience with Social Media. This makes her particularly well suited to give leadership to on-field church planters looking to utilize the dynamic of social media to gather individuals who have an interest in the gospel message. The effectiveness of combining social media, traditional media, and field practitioners has proved to be a powerful tool in the hands of those working in closed countries. This is yet another inspiring story for those of you interested in how technology and media is being used to reach the unreached.
