Trigger Warning: Please be advised that this episode contains disturbing material involving children that may not be suitable for some listeners. Please use discretion.

Ben and Tom of the Will Continue to Monitor podcast, our favorite dynamic duo, are back to guest host this week's episode. We are tackling the ongoing and disturbing case of Lucy Letby, a former UK children's nurse. Letby is accused of harming and murdering several infants under her care. If she is convicted, she would become Britain's most prolific child murderer.

Our Good Nurse story is about an overwhelmed charge nurse who contacted 911 for help from the fire department.

Good Nurse Bad Nurse - Another Good Respiratory Therapist Bad Respiratory Therapist
play

04/16/21 • 39 min

***Trigger warning: This episode has elements of child sexual abuse.

This week, Tina is joined by Megan, a respiratory therapist and the better half of Tom, co-host of the Just Some Podcast show. Together, they discuss the extremely disturbing and shocking story of Wayne Albert Bleyle, a respiratory therapist who had a reputation as an exemplary employee for over two decades at a children's hospital before investigators made a horrific discovery on his home computer. The good RT story is about a man who put his skills to good use when he happened upon a motorcycle accident and was the only medical professional there until EMS arrived.

This week on GNBN, we are starting a new segment after the Good Nurse story. "Not Necessarily Nursing News" is a satire news segment where Tina will read a news article meant to be funny and inciteful. Then she and her guest host will discuss the article and the serious subject matter that goes along with it. This week's "Not Necessarily Nursing News" is brought to you by LiveWell Health. Both married shortly after finishing high school, Peggy to a Baptist Choirmaster and Betty to a doctor she met in her nursing program. When Betty found her husband dead after a day of self-pampering, Betty and Peggy would find themselves accused of planning the murder. Good Nurse Bad Nurse - Good Missionary Nurse Bad Suicidal Nurse
play

11/19/19 • 64 min

This week Tina is joined by nurse manager Allison again. After talking about a nurse who helped a homeless man who needed a heart transplant, they encourage everyone listening to take a selfie with their driver's license and post it on Instagram and/or Facebook with the hashtags #showmeyourheart and #goodnursebadnurse. The bad nurse story revolves around suicide so if that is a trigger for anyone, please consider sitting this one out. This story is so heartbreaking and unbelievable. It starts out in Canada with a young college student and ends up going all the way around the world. They end the story with a listener suggestion of a good nurse who does missionary work.
