Revisiting the Bleachella Era (I Did Something Kressie)
Good for a Weekend: An Unofficial Taylor Swift Podcast
05/06/21 • 39 min
In this special episode, Kressie and friend of the pod, MK discuss the beautiful messiness that is the very short-lived Bleachella era--what happened before, during, and after. The two discuss the Vogue interview, Bleachella's inception, her breakup with Calvin Harris, the 2016 Met Gala, Tom Hiddleston (and the whirlwind that was Hiddleswift), how Joe Alwyn fits into all of this, and of course, Getaway Car. MK also explains why Camila Cabello called her Curly Sue.

Then, for this episode of Stanning BTS, we finish the HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1. Documentary with episodes 5 and 6.
Episode 5, titled "What If," serves as a pilgrimage for J-Hope. He travels to the heart of hip-hop culture, New York City. his encounter serves as a powerful reminder of the roots from which his own artistic expression has blossomed.
Episode 6, titled "Neuron," brings J-Hope full circle. He returns to his hometown of Gwangju, South Korea, to reunite with his old dance crew, Neuron. This group was the very foundation of his dance journey, the place where it all began.

Watching the Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun Documentary So You Don’t Have To: Podcast
Good for a Weekend: An Unofficial Taylor Swift Podcast
10/10/24 • 58 min
Good for a Weekend hosts MK and Kressie always have your back, that much you can count on. That's why they've sacrificed their sanity to watch the Max documentary Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood -- all so you don't have to. Listen to their review.
Split into two episodes, one covering "Taylor's version" and one covering "Scooter's version," the doc mini-series' portrayal of the conflict sadly brings nothing new to the table. Overall, if MK and Kressie had to sum up Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood in one word, it'd easily be "cringe!"
Listen to the two summarize and react to Taylor Swift vs Scooter Braun: Bad Blood above. If you do dare to watch Bad Blood for yourself, at least make it a value proposition by signing up for the Max/Hulu/Disney+ bundle, which can save you up to 38% compared to purchasing the services separately.

We discuss every track on Taylor Swift's new album, folklore, and share our many thoughts and theories. Things get heated. The original recording was 3.5 hours long, and we still didn't cover it all. We'll make a mini episode in the future discussing things we cut out, forgot to say, and anything new that has happened with the album since its release. Oh, also -- new era, new cover art. We hope you like our new logo!
