Introducing Swiftie Confessions: What’s on your mind, Taylor Swift fans? What are your unpopular opinions? What’s your favorite Taylor moment? What "Easter eggs" did you totally believe that never happened? Do you have any conspiracy theories? It can be positive, negative, something you need to get off your chest, whatever. We’ll choose our favorites and read them in a December episode. We give examples of our Swiftie Confessions in the episode. So, let’s act like we’re all hanging out around a warm fire place together, sipping hot cocoa or wine, Taylor Swift songs playing softly in the background, just chatting about what’s on our minds.

SWIFTIE CONFESSION SUBMISSION RULES:

  1. Nothing weird or sexual about Taylor. That means no speculating about her sex life, in any way. Please follow this rule out of respect for Taylor.
  2. Don’t call out certain Swifties. It’s okay if you want to rant about maybe a big fan account or have had some problems with Swifties, but do not specifically call them out, no names, usernames, nothing.
  3. Submit by Dec. 13 at the absolute latest. That sounds super far away, but y'all, that’s less than 30 days away! Email your Swiftie Confessions to [email protected] -- you may also send an audio recording saved as an mp3 file. The earlier you send your confession, the more likely it is that we will include it.

Borahae ICONIC Army!

First of all, two of Stanning BTS, Kayla and Bethany's 2024 predictions for what BTS are up to are coming true!

BTS has renewed their campaign with UNICEF. Launched in 2017, BTS' LOVE MYSELF campaign fights violence and promotes self-esteem in youth. Through music, speeches, and donations, BTS and UNICEF have raised millions and empowered young voices. This ongoing collaboration continues to make a positive global impact.

Also, RM’s WPRP album is coming soon! So look out for our review, but we talk about everything we know thus far and the clues that gave away that something was happening.

Then, for this episode of Stanning BTS, we finish the HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1. Documentary with episodes 5 and 6.

Episode 5, titled "What If," serves as a pilgrimage for J-Hope. He travels to the heart of hip-hop culture, New York City. his encounter serves as a powerful reminder of the roots from which his own artistic expression has blossomed.

Episode 6, titled "Neuron," brings J-Hope full circle. He returns to his hometown of Gwangju, South Korea, to reunite with his old dance crew, Neuron. This group was the very foundation of his dance journey, the place where it all began.

Listen to Kayla and Bethany dive into the new series, and be sure to subscribe and review wherever you listen. ARMY faithful can also pick up the Stanning BTS T-shirt, now on sale at the Consequence Shop -- available in two colors! Then, don’t forget to check out all the Consequence Podcast Network series.

We discuss every track on Taylor Swift's new album, folklore, and share our many thoughts and theories. Things get heated. The original recording was 3.5 hours long, and we still didn't cover it all. We'll make a mini episode in the future discussing things we cut out, forgot to say, and anything new that has happened with the album since its release. Oh, also -- new era, new cover art. We hope you like our new logo!

Good for a Weekend: An Unofficial Taylor Swift Podcast - Rebekah Harkness & Marjorie Finlay, Happy Women’s History Month I Guess (Don’t Blame Ali)
play

03/04/21 • 46 min

In this edition of Don't Blame Ali, Ali shares her unfiltered take on the recent attention Taylor Swift has received following her tweet on Monday to Netflix show Ginny & Georgia after one of their episode's made a sexist joke at Taylor's expense. "What do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift." In honor of Taylor and Women's History Month, Ali focuses on two strong and incredible women who influenced songs on Taylor's Folklore and Evermore albums respectively, Rebekah Harkness and Marjorie Finlay. If you love the songs The Last Great American Dynasty and Marjorie, this is the episode for you. Then finally, in a last ditch effort, Ali shares her theory on if the Folklore-Evermore trilogy album could still exist with an interesting take on Taylor's music video for Cardigan. Is Ali the only trilogy believer left?

Good for a Weekend: An Unofficial Taylor Swift Podcast - The Grammys, The Long Pond Sessions, and Folklore Revisited

The Grammys, The Long Pond Sessions, and Folklore Revisited

Good for a Weekend: An Unofficial Taylor Swift Podcast

11/28/20 • 81 min

TLDR: We discuss the announcement of our autographed Folklore CD and merch of your choice giveaway, reminder of Swiftie Confessions, 2021 Grammy nominations, Taylor's new documentary Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, Folklore revisited, and our wild new theories.

Oh boy... did we have a lot to cover in this episode! There was no way we could ignore the Grammys, Taylor Swift's six nominations, and The Weeknd's majorly controversial snub. After ranting about how trash the Grammy voting committee is, the sheer disrespect to what we consider Taylor's biggest competition for the award show, Justin Bieber's pure ignorance and entitlement (read the room, Justin!), and our winner predictions -- we discuss the next huge drop in the Taylor Swift community, her new documentary Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions on Disney+! Where does she find the time? We talk about the biggest revelations we learned from the movie (looking at you, "Mirrorball"), one of the host's newfound... appreciation... for Jack Antonoff, and how the documentary overall changed how we feel about the album. We end this episode with an abridged, heavily edited down previously recorded episode where we revisit Folklore and the opinions you shared with us. Of course, this was recorded before her new documentary (a head's up would've been nice, Taylor!), so we cut it down to just the important stuff, like Kressie's new theory about "The 1," and Ali's realization of how Karlie Kloss could come into play. We wouldn't be a true Taylor Swift podcast if we didn't have at least a few episodes that become irrelevant days after recording!

About the Giveaway
  • To enter, write us an Apple Podcasts review and send a screenshot of it to [email protected] by December 31, 2020.

  • The winner will receive an autographed Folklore CD as well as t-shirt of their choice from Taylor's Folklore merch available on www.taylorswift.com.
